New York City, one of the most iconic destinations in the world. This tour uniquely blends the old and the new, offering an unparalleled New York City experience. Marvel at modern skyscrapers and legendary landmarks while delving into the rich history of Lower Manhattan, including the fascinating story of Alexander Hamilton. A pivotal figure of the American Revolution, Hamilton served as an aide to General George Washington and played a critical role in key battles. As the architect of the nation’s financial system, he established the Bank of New York, forging a deep connection with downtown Manhattan and the Financial District. A brief stop in Brooklyn’s DUMBO will be made pending time. DUMBO becomes a central location for the Battle of Brooklyn which the British won forcing the continental army to retreat across east River. The tour also visit Morris Jumel Mansion the once summer residence of the British Colonial Roger Morris and the house General George Washington occupied with his officers after the continental army’s retreat from Brooklyn.
This tour takes you through the bustling streets of Midtown and Lower Manhattan, showcasing many of the city’s most famous landmarks such as Times Square, the Theatre District, the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center and a glimpse of Central Park Highlights in Lower Manhattan include Fraunces Tavern on Pearl Street—a historic meeting place for Hamilton and other Founding Fathers—Wall Street, Federal Hall (where Hamilton served as the first Secretary of the Treasury), and Trinity Church, his final resting place.
After the tour you will have some time to enjoy dinner at own expense before we hit Broadway to see the incredible “Hamilton” production. This show has received numerous of awards telling us the story of Hamilton’s early life as a poor orphan to becoming Washington’s right hand man.
This tour experience offers an exceptional opportunity to explore New York City and immerse yourself in its’ remarkable history.
After the show the group will board the coach and A-1 will transfer you seamlessly back to your selected drop off spot.
Should you already have seen “Hamilton” on Broadway you are welcome to select a different show with suitable timing. Surcharge for a different show may apply. Please inquire with us. Free time in the city for other activities is also an option.
