A‑1 Tours collaborates with multiple suppliers to provide competitive rates. On selected retail tours, we offer discounts for veterans and first responders. Please call 888-927-8927 or email us to check your eligibility.

Each tour is different, and some may require more walking or outdoor time than others. We encourage you to check the weather before your trip. For your comfort, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing in layers. Any extra clothing or umbrellas may be left on the bus when not in use. The driver will remain with the vehicle at all times to keep your belongings safe.

When joining one of A‑1 Tours’ retail tours, a standard gratuity for both the driver and the guide is included. However, you are welcome to offer additional gratuity at your discretion.

For FIT tours, the guide’s gratuity is not included. Tipping is customary and entirely at the traveler’s discretion. Gratuities should be paid directly to the guide on site. A standard gratuity for the driver is included, but guests are encouraged to provide additional tips if they feel the service met or exceeded expectations.

Yes, guest comfort is always our top priority during every trip. For our retail tours, we schedule several restroom stops along the way. You will get a chance to stretch your legs and grab a snack. In addition, our motor coaches are equipped with onboard restrooms that guests are welcome to use throughout the tour.

For FIT & private group tours, the group decided when and how many breaks they would like to take.

If you are unable to attend to your personal needs during the tour, we encourage you to travel with a care assistant. Please note that regular fare will apply to the care assistant.

Our coaches are ADA accessible. If you will be traveling with a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so we can ensure the necessary equipment and accommodations are available.

Yes, A‑1 Tours collects full payment in advance.
For retail tours, full payment is required at the time of booking.

At A‑1 Tours, we value all of our customers, and our goal is to make the booking process as smooth as possible. For FIT, Concierge, and Group tours, we do offer some flexibility. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific needs and desired payment timelines.

Most of our retail tours offer a “cancel for any reason” insurance. Depending on the type of tour, this insurance allows you to cancel up to 72, 48, or 24 hours before tour departure with a full refund on the tour fare. For this to apply, the traveler must contact A-1 Tours and receive a written cancellation confirmation from our tour department within the applicable time period.

  • Please arrive at your selected pick‑up point 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for all retail tours.
  • Check the weather before the tour. We recommend dressing in layers, bringing an umbrella, and wearing comfortable shoes.
  • We provide water and individually wrapped snacks on all tours; however, bringing your own water bottle is recommended, especially during the summer months.
  • Review the parking options at your chosen pick‑up point. Some locations offer free parking, while others may require a fee.
  • End times are approximate and may vary depending on traffic conditions.

We welcome both adults and children on our retail tours. However, some tours are designed with adults in mind. We encourage guests to carefully review the tour description or contact A‑1 Tours directly to discuss suitability for younger travelers.

FIT tours are fully private and ideal for both adults and children. Please let us know the ages of any children in your group, as well as any specific interests or requests you may have. This helps us match you with the perfect guide and tailor the experience to your needs!
