In addition to the reenactments, visitors can enjoy displays and interactive workshops that educate guests about what life was like for a soldier in the Continental Army. Additionally, women played a crucial role during these times, and you will get an opportunity to learn about how women and children in the encampments supported the soldiers.
As you walk along, you may learn about artillery, cannons, and drilling, as well as witness demonstrations of black powder musket firing.
There will also of course, be plenty of dining and shopping opportunities among vendors on site.
Valley Forge National Historical Park covers approx. 3500 acres and is worth visiting at any time of the year. Join us for this adventure and the opportunity to travel 200-plus years back in time!
