New York City Big Bus Essential: 1 Day:

If you only have one day in NYC, how do you make the most of it? By getting tickets for the double-decker bus that covers both the uptown and downtown loops of Manhattan, of course! It's the perfect way to see it all in a short time.

The downtown loop offers the perfect opportunity to see New York's most famous landmarks, including the iconic Empire State Building, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, and a distant view of the Statue of Liberty. You'll also pass by the Bull at Wall Street, the Flatiron Building, trendy Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, and Hudson Yards-Manhattan's newest and most upscale business district.

The uptown loop takes you through the prestigious Upper East Side and Midtown, passing by some of the city's most famous theaters, museums, and art galleries. You'll see the renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art, home to magnificent artwork and the iconic Met Gala, one of New York City's most star-studded annual events. This loop also showcases Central Park and the beautiful commuter hub, Grand Central Station. The uptown loop lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes without stops, while the downtown loop is around 90 minutes. Both tours include plug-in commentary, so you can learn about the city as you travel through it.

    • Present your e-tickets to one of the agents across the street from M&M World at 48th Street and
    • 7th Avenue (Stop 1).
    • The Downtown loop (Red) runs hourly from 9:30am to 4:30pm. The Uptown loop (Blue) departs from stop one at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm.
    • Please note the following changes for the winter schedule:
      • Downtown Tour: The first bus is at 9:00am and the last bus departs at 4:00pm. Frequency every 15-20 minutes.
      • Uptown Tour: The first bus is at 9:00am and the last bus departs at 4:00pm. Frequency
        every 30 minutes.

      Closed Dates:
      • Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 (Thanksgiving Day)
      • Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 (New Year’s Eve)
