Schmigadoon! Is a fantastic musical comedy based on the Emmy winning Apple TV + series with the same name. In a tender loving way it spoofs and celebrates the classic Broadway Musicals of the 1940 and 1950s including Oklahoma, Carousel, The Music Man and the beloved Sound of Music to name a few.
The story follows Melissa & Josh, two New Yorkers whose relationship has lost its spark. During a couples retreat the stumble into the mysterious town of Schmigadoon! where the residents live their lives as if they were in the Golden Age musical breaking into songs, dancing through their daily duties and embracing old fashion romance. The one and only way to leave is to find true love which may or may not be with each other.
This is an uplifting and highly entertaining production guaranteeing a fantastic Broadway experience.
This outing also allows for some free time in Manhattan, while many guests opt for lunch, a cheeky beverage break and some people watching; a visit to Museum of Broadway (at additional cost) is recommended.
