The flavorful adventure begins at Asher’s Chocolates Factory, one of America’s longest-running family-owned chocolate companies. They’ve been crafting sweets since 1892—basically proof that chocolate is the real secret to longevity. Now in its fifth generation, Asher’s invites guests to take a self-guided stroll along the “Candy Corridor,” where large viewing windows reveal chocolatiers hard at work stirring, molding, and resisting the urge to eat everything themselves. The visit wraps up in the factory candy shop, where you can browse (and inevitably buy) a wide variety of award-winning chocolates and sugar-free treats—because balance.
After this noble start, we head to Lansdale Tavern for a relaxing lunch. Expect classic comfort food, friendly service, and—just in case you thought you were done—a chocolatey dessert to keep the theme going strong.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Raymer’s Candies, a beloved shop known for crafting fresh candies daily using traditional recipes dating back to the late 1880s. Guests will have time to browse the charming store and explore the historic surroundings of Doylestown—a perfect chance to walk off at least one truffle.

Known for award-winning chocolates that cause involuntary sighing, Asher also produces sugar-free options – because even willpower deserves a treat.
Enjoy a self-guided stroll down the Candy Corridor, where glass windows let you watch chocolate being stirred, molded, and living its absolute best life. The tour ends in the candy shop where “I’m just looking” becomes a bold lie.

We bravely peel ourselves away from chocolate (heroes, all of us) and head to Lansdale Tavern, home of friendly service and classic comfort food. Because nothing balances chocolate quite like more food.
Stop 2: Raymer’s Chocolates – Doylestown PA
These candies are made fresh daily using recipes dating back to the late 1880’s. That’s right, these treats were perfected before modern problems existed. For over 90 years this family business has used the same natural ingredients, proving once and again that if it ain’t broke, don’t mess with the chocolate.
Due to the capacity of the shop, some guests may choose to walk around the quaint neighborhood first, then double back to enjoy the chocolate shop.
