Perched along the Hudson River in Tarrytown, Lyndhurst Mansion is a magnificent Gothic Revival estate with breathtaking views. Designed in 1838 by architect Alexander Jackson Davis, this National Historic Landmark showcases an exceptional collection of original decorative art set within beautifully landscaped, park-like grounds. It is especially enchanting in the spring and summer, when the gardens are in full bloom.
After enjoying a delicious group lunch, we’ll continue to the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy for a self-guided visit. Widely regarded as one of the finest Indo-Persian gardens in the Western Hemisphere, this hidden gem offers a truly unique experience. Wander through intricately designed landscapes, admire striking architecture, and take in spectacular river views as you explore this remarkable horticultural treasure.
