This is the perfect getaway with the opportunity to take in two of the most well-visited gardens on the East Coast. Get immersed in floral summer beauty as we start with a guided tour at Longwood Gardens.
Longwood Gardens is a gorgeous botanical garden made up of 1077 acres of woodland, meadows, and manicured gardens with dazzling displays of horticultural art. You will tour the garden along with a guide, learning the “Longwood Story.” This tour is designed to tell the story of how one man’s vision turned Longwood into one of the greatest gardens of the world. You will also explore some seasonal highlights while learning about the garden’s heritage and horticultural distinction. There is a lot to see and many pictures to take!
Longwood Gardens offers a variety of dining options depending on the time of the year. There is a sit-down restaurant on site casual café, and a Beer Garden. Guests can enjoy a meal, a snack, or a drink or two at their own expense.
A-1 Tours uses high vehicles for all tours. You will travel safely to, from, and between the gardens in a luxury vehicle operated by one of our professional drivers. All vehicles are climate-controlled for ultimate comfort so no struggling in the summer heat!

Is there parking at the pick-up locations?
Some of the pick-up locations we use require a parking fee for your vehicle. Guests are responsible for their own parking fees.
What if it rains?
Tours run in rain or shine.
What is your cancellation policy?
• If you have purchased “cancel for any reason” insurance. You may cancel up to 24 hours prior to time of estimated departure for any reason. You MUST notify A-1 Tours in writing or by phone and receive a cancellation confirmation back.
• A-1 Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour with full refund to guests in case of low participation numbers.
